Welcome on the ASD Prometheus, the flagship of the 1st battlegroup of the 5th Republican Fleet. Battlegroup One is the oldest part of the 5th fleet. The battlegroup represents the remnants of the former 5th Imperial fleet. The 5th fleet ecame a strong military unit in the period before the clone wars when the Republic tried to build military forces to protect the remnants of the Old Republic from the groing droid armies of the Seperatists. Clones of the first series of Clonetroopers and human navy personnel of the Old Republic still serve in the Ranks of the 1sr battlegroup. Many of them in high ranks and decorated with several medals of all periods of Empire and Republic.
