Description: The TIE Fighter is still the Basic Fighter of the Imperial navy. Different to other actual fighters, exept of the Y-Wing and the Z95 Headhunter, the TIE Fighter is pretty cheap. Not only in the costs to produce or buy one of the current types, but also in the costs to repair it. Exchange parts are avaible all over the galaxy and the simple structure of the TIE Fighter requires half of the mechanical personal than an X-Wing to repair it. The actual version uses an advanced Ion engine and a small shield generator familiar to the shield generator Admiral Zaarin developed short before Endor. The minimized shield generators are the most expensive parts of the TIE Fighters, so most of the warlords with Cloning tanks use the non shielded version of the T/F.

Description: The TIE Advanced is still the proud of the Imperial navy and the Imperial PDFs. Historicans are sure, the Battle of Endor and all of the other major battles could have been won for the Empire, with just 25% of the fighters replaced withe T/As. The TIE Defender is far stronger and faster, then the T/A, but the extremly limited number of the actuall existing T/Ds and extraordinary price make the T/A the better fighter. New republican fleets usually have the problem to get new fighters and exchange parts, cause HWWT isn't allowed to produce them and SFS don't seels officially to the NR, so Republican T/As have often lower stats, cause infunctional parts are often replaced with TIE Fighter or TIE Mk3 parts.

Description: The TIE Mk3 has been developed 6 years past Endor. The developers tried to create a Fighter with the same strengh as the TIE Defender but with lower resource costs. They managed their attempt, but the high weight and the high power consume of the weapon systems decreased speed and maneuverability.

Description: The TIE Interceptor is one of the finest starfighters in the Imperial navy. Most of the young and unexperianced pilots want to be in a T/I squadron cause the design of the TIE Interceptor is one of the best in the Imperial navy. One of the most famous Imperial pilots, Colonel Baron Fel, commanded a T/I squadron.

Description: The TIE Bomber is the light bomber of the Imperial forces, most of the time the mission of TIE Bomber squadrons is: Fly to an enemy ship or planet, throw your bombs, and return to get a new load. A few Imperial commaders beleave the T/B has defense abilities, but the low speed makes it difficult to hunt enemy fighters, bombers.

Description: One reason for the victory of the Alliance is the X-Wing. Sure, an experianced pilots would choose a TIE Fighter, cause of the higher maneuverability. But the X-Wing has better weapons, so it can strike faster and harder, and the X-Wing is forgiving: It's armor and shielding gives you a second chance, cause they can take some more hits then most of the TIE Series.

Description: The B-Wing is maybe the most dangerous ship the Alliance used. Like the Y-Wing the B-Wing is a tactical Bomber with a high range and a fair warhead load. But the B-Wing has better armor, much better shields, a higher speed and more close combat weapons than the Y-Wing. Of all fighter squadrons of the 5th fleet, the B-Wing squadrons are the only ones with a real chance to destroy a smaller Stardestroyer in one attempt.
