Joining the 5th Fleet

First of all, welcome in the 5th fleet. The registration goes in three steps, as you can see below. It's not required to do all steps at once, you can take yourself the time you need. The registration itself isn't difficult, can be done within a few minutes, but a valid e-mail adress is required for joining. If you don't want to use your own e-mail adress, there are a couple of providers that offer free adresses.


STEP I: Registration for the fleet roster

The fleet roster is an overview about every member of the 5th fleet. There you can see on which events members took part, which medals they got, how many games they played and other informations. The link below will open a second window, with a form to register for the roster.

STEP II: Registration on the fleet message board

The message board is one of the main communication forms of the 5th fleet. All important news can be found there. The following link leads you to the registration form for the message board.

After you have registred on the message board it would be good to make your first post on the academy section. There you can post the name of the officer recruited you, or how you found the 5th fleet. You could also post your favorite starwars starfighter type or your favority star wars game or the unit you want to be asigned to, if you want to join the newspaper or the Jedi Order, or whatever your questions comments are, you can post them there.

STEP III: Graduation from the Naval Academy

Usually the graduation wasn't supposed to be directly, but many new members used the chance to make their exam directly at the beginning to get ensign at once. The following link leads you to a page where the questions for the naval exam are on. As soon as you think you have solved enough of it to get at least half of the points you can send the answers to High Admiral Commskywalker (nac@fifthnet.org). When you passed the test you will get ensign, you can do the test when you want and how often you want, but as soon as you are ensign the test is not nessesary anymore.
