Mission

Basically the job of the Research and Develop subgroup is to assist the fleet with game editing and internet.
The subgroup get requests from Carrier Captains or Squadron Commanders to aid them on their unit pages or make banners or graphical elements for the page or make templates for pages to them or create the compete pages for them. Get requests from officers creating their roster avatar or their message board avatar or helping them with their message board signature. Or get requests from officers making personnel JO or JA skins for them or making a special JA map for the commander that hosts the event.
The Director and the Assistant Director asign the task to the subgroup members then.

Background

Welwein Werke were a small company on Delasol producing all kind of agrar technology before the Clone Wars. While the Clone Wars the company build up it's weapon section the Helwein Werke Waffen Technology. At the beginning of the Galactic Civil War HWWT was producing 80% of the products of Helwein Werke.
During the Civil War HWWT produced parts for TIE Fighter and TIE Bomber, after the Civil War HWWT produced complete TIE Fighters under license of SFS for Imperial Remnants. Meanwhile HWWT almost exclusivly produces for the 5th New Republican fleet and other Fallen fleets.
In the Research and Development Division of HWWT several officers of the 5th fleet work together with scientists of HWWT on new weapon systems for the 5th fleet.
